The Purse-driven Life

Occasionally I’ve been known to use this blog space to expound upon shallow subjects such as choosing life for unborn babies or keeping one’s eyes pure while surfing the net.

Forget about that. Get ready to go deep!

This beauty is my new purse. It’s got attitude, doesn’t it? I feel wilder just carrying it. Need I tell you that it was on sale? Clearance, with an additional 50 % off.

All this talking about purses got me thinking about Anita Renfroe. Yes, she’s the Christian comedienne I saw a few months ago. And yes, she wrote a book called The Purse-driven Life: It Really Is All About Me. Here’s how she connects with me–aside from the deep, life-changing connection we formed in the two minutes I spent with her after waiting half an hour in her autograph line:

If you go to Anita’s website, the Dadsense song that plays automatically was filmed the very night I attended her show. Try to catch a glimpse of me laughing hysterically. I’m somewhere to the left of the stage, fairly near the front.

Yeah, I couldn’t find me either.

That’s about the size purse I carry. Last time, I walked into my chiropractor’s office, he just shook his head. I think he’s given up on warning me about the dangers of “The Big Purse.”

    Stylewise – very cool.

I’ve heard Anita Renfroe. She’s a funny gal. Ever hear her routine about blending make-up? It’s not a good idea to listen to her while driving. There should be a warning label or something. Hysterical.

    Gotta run.

    Blessings,
    Susan 🙂
