Moody Launches Fiction Blog!

You’ve probably already heard about it, but I want to make sure. Moody has launched a fiction blog! Today they are asking, “What kind of fiction books do you enjoy the most? Do you prefer reading a certain genre, author, time period, or writing style?” If you leave a comment answering that question, you’ll be entered in the 10-book giveaway–and that’s just for today!–of Debbie Fuller Thomas’ Raising Rain

Tomorrow, they will be giving away 10 copies of The Familiar Stranger. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll remind you!

During the 61-day blog tour of Sept and Oct, Christina Banks won a copy of my book. She just posted this review. It’s a very satisfying thing to see the word of mouth keep spreading. On the ACFW loop, an author suggested googling “your name” + “the name of your book” in that exact format to see how many hits you have. He was wondering if web exposure correlated directly with sales, as his most-talked-about books were not his best sellers.

“christina berry” + “the familiar stranger” brought back over half a million links a few days ago. (Of course, when I just did it now, it shows 106,000, so I’m not sure what’s up with that.) Anyhoo, if you are an author, try it. See how much of the web you’ve taken by storm!

I saw you had posted a comment on Moody blog and was so excited to see your name! I read your book and am a part of the CFBA and was suppose to be a part of the blog tour but we lost my Dad on that week so I was unable to participate. I just wanted to share with you how MUCH I LOVED YOUR BOOK! I read it over Thanksgiving Holiday and was UNABLE TO PUT IT DOWN!! My daughter took it from me afterwards and asked if she could read it ~ I said “YES, why are you asking so funny?” She said “I have NEVER seen you read a book like that and I am curious” 🙂
So thankyou for writing such an amazing book that kept me up all hours and kept me guessing til the end!

Blessings to you ~ I will be following you now …hope you don’t mind 🙂

Susan and Destrella, I’m sure the Moody blog will be a place you frequent often. I think they are doing a wonderful thing by putting so many resources in one place.

Loren, what wonderful words! I’m so sorry about the loss of your father. I’m thrilled you’re following and so happy I brought you and your daughter some entertainment! 🙂
