Come Chat with Me Tonight!

This year has been full of “firsts” for me and here comes yet another! Dancing Word is hosting a live chat with me tonight. Please, please, since I know you have nothing better to do on a Friday night, pop in and make it a rockin’ party. 🙂 Here are the details.

Recently published author, Christina Berry will join us on Friday, September 11th, beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Pacific in the Dancing Word chat room to discuss her debut novel THE FAMILIAR STRANGER.

To join the chat go to:
http://www.centralchat.net/chatrooms/channel/dancingword
type in your name where you see “enter nick” and then click on the “connect” button. Please test out the chat room ahead of time.

Those who cannot use the java program will need to use the central chat mIRC
program. Go to:
http://www.centralchat.net/chatrooms/cgiirc.php?c=dancingword
Type your name in the “nickname” box and click on the “Login” button.

Make sure you do a practice run prior to the chat night to ensure you don’t have any problems. If you need help, please contact Anne McDonald (dancingword [at] gmail[dot]com) directly at least two hours before the chat.

Do you like kiwis? I hope so, because the blog tour is taking us down to New Zealand for Grace Bridge’s review of The Familiar Stranger. A line from the review made me truly gasp aloud. Post it here, and if you’re right you’ll get an extra entry for the drawing.

“Another astonishing layer is uncovered, culminating in one of fiction’s most cunning plot twists to date.” ? That would make ME gasp! Congratulations, girl. Excited and rejoicing with you. Looking forward to the 30th! 🙂

I wish I could come, but I’ll be standing around feeling like a loser at my high school reunion, wondering why I came to hang out w/ people I didn’t fit in with ten years ago…but I’ll definitely be buying your book.

I tell you, just when you think you’ve figured it out – wham! Another astonishing layer is uncovered, culminating in one of fiction’s most cunning plot twists to date.

    This?

I hope you had a good time! My hubby had to use the computer last night so I couldn’t join. 🙁
But what awesome comments you’re getting! 🙂

Miriam, you got it! Why am I not surprised. 😉 Almost too good to believe.

Tamara, how did the reunion go? I totally understand what you’re saying, but as the years go by, it seems we actually have more and more in common with former classmates.

Ah, Jessica, it would have been so fun to have you there. The chat was wonderful and the hour flew by. I guess I kind of enjoy talking about myself. 😉

The reunion was a blast, mostly b/c the self-conscious self of my high school years died a long time ago. The kids I wasn’t friends with then…I still don’t have anything in common with today. I had a great time with my old friends. It really reaffirmed for me that I made the right friends back in the day.
