Measurable Progress

Since this is a writer’s blog, I suppose I should update you on our writing progress every now and again, eh?

Yesterday, Mom and I updated our website. We have a couple things left to do: need to add photos or links to three pages and figure out why our FAQs page is suddenly showing up in bold….

Today was a bonus writing day. One of the kiddos I watch every Tuesday was sick so her daddy stayed home from work to be with them. Poor sweetie. I hope she gets better quickly. But what was bad news for them worked into something good for me.

Mom and I went over every chapter in On the Threshold . We wrote down a few favorites from each character’s point of view. Now we have to narrow it down to one chapter from each character and we’ll be sending those on to Editor B. It’d be great to get that off to her before leaving for the ACFW conference.

Prayer Request: My aunt had thyroid surgery this morning. They found cancer and had to remove the entire thyroid–not what they were planning. It’s particularly upsetting as she beat breast cancer two years ago. Fortunately, this kind of cancer has a 95% cure rate.

As far as I know, I’ve been the only Aunt that you’ve mentioned recently so I want to set the record straight…..I am NOT the aunt you are referring to. (Just wanted your readers to know that.)
