T-shirt Wisdom

The kids’ school will be having pajama day soon during spirit week. However, my kids have been doing this crazy thing called “growing” and all their pajama bottoms had turned into stylish capris. All right for Andrea, but a fashion no-no for Joshua.

So I ended up at JC Pennys jammie sale with a $10 off coupon. We found some great ones: a Black Hawk helicopter set and a bunny one with the saying, “Bad Hare Day.” Take a guess at which one was for which child.

And then I saw them. Bright red rectangles pronouncing the news. Yes, the clearance racks. By the time the lint had settled, I had four shirts and a pair of jeans for $16.98! And I used a different coupon where, just for trying on one unmentionable, I got another unmentionable for free.

Oh, I can’t leave off the story: Josh, Andrea, and I each in our own fitting rooms.

J: I have to go potty.

Me: Can you hold it?

J: No.

M: Okay, everyone get dressed.

Andrea and I both appear a short time later, fully dressed, carrying clothes we still need to try on.

J: I don’t have to go anymore.

And the T-shirt wisdom? As I scavenged through the clearance racks, I came across a green T-shirt with hot pink writing. I cracked up immediately. What did it say?
